Fairhaven Christadelphian Terms of Reference
The Fairhaven Foundation operates under applicable government regulations to provide grants to registered charities in Canada. We disperse a percentage of our investment income annually to support those in need.
Funding Guidelines
- Arranging Boards Only: Only requests from Arranging Boards will be considered. Individuals may not apply directly.
- Priority: Welfare needs of Christadelphian elderly are the primary focus.
- Funding Partner: The Foundation supplements rather than replaces ecclesial responsibility. Ecclesias are expected to contribute from their own resources.
- Confidentiality: Requests must be in writing and document the specific need and background in confidence.
How to Request Support
The board considers requests at semi-annual meetings in February and June each year. While emergency requests are addressed as quickly as possible, it is preferable for ecclesias to address the immediate emergency and then follow up with a funding request.

Our History & Mandate
Formed following the sale of Fairhaven House in Toronto, our principal mandate is to financially support Canadian ecclesias who require assistance with senior health and welfare expenses and more broadly, other Canadian Christadelphians in financial need.
